MY PATH TO BREAST SURGERY
This website is dedicated to my dearly beloved grandmother the late Mrs. Stella Bida who lost her immediate and extended family in the Holocaust, came to Israel in 1942, married and had a family of her own. At age 42 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a Mastectomy, she passed due to her illness at age 64.
My grandmother hid her illness from those around her, I am confident it was detected at an advanced stage.
Were my grandmother living nowadays, I have no dough in my mind things would have been different.
At age 12, my beloved, adored, ever smiling, full of humor and wisdom grandmother was taken from me.
She is always in my heart, my choice to dedicate myself to breast surgery is an homage to her.
I believe early detection can save lives.
Get checked, have a breast exam, it can save your life!
